Video playback is not the same throughout the world. There are three primary standards in which video can originate: NTSC; PAL; or SECAM. European countries to use the PAL standard. Countries in North America, Central America and parts of South America, as well as Japan and other Asian countries, typically use the NTSC standard.

All three of these standards have different frame rates and display settings, and therefore can’t be played or broadcast on equipment designed for another standard. Dub Center offers a conversion service to transfer your video master to and from any of these standards.
